The four poster bed dates back to at least the sixteenth century and possibly earlier. The Alphabeds four poster is a contemporary relation constructed from solid Pine. The scalloped head and tail, coupled with the scalloped double-depth side rails combine to make a solid and stable frame. The round top rails will take standard, wooden curtain rings. The corner posts are approximately 6'6" high.
